Quote of the Day

And this time it's mine!
It seems today I got creative or something and came up with this:

"If the world didn't know love or suffering, there wouldn't be any poetry worth reading, we wouldn't have something to fight for, and we wouldn't have a reason to take that first step out the door..."

I've noticed that my urge to write [poems] relies heavily on strong emotions such as joy, depression, anger and passion. Also, not only is the need to write more intense, but the work usually turns out to be much better than those driven by weaker emotions. Even people who write about nature need to have a passion for it in order to come up with a genuine piece of literature. Even those who prefer to write about more ordinary stuff, say garbage cans. Not kidding.
