Wikipedia says that one of these may result from any one (or several) of these:
- The sense of being alone and isolated in the world;
- A new-found grasp or appreciation of one's mortality;
- Believing that one's life has no purpose or external meaning;
- Awareness of one's freedom and the consequences of accepting or rejecting that freedom;
- An extremely pleasurable or hurtful experience that leaves one seeking meaning;
Not really sure which one I better fit into. But it's on.

Lindsey Stirling
I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Even though I've been particularly busy this semester (classes, orchestra, family stuff, etc.), I've somehow managed to spare some time for music transcription. 2010 America Got Talent's Lindsey Stirling has recently come up with many fun songs to practice (and to dance to!), my favorites being the latest 'Crystallize' (which I refuse to consider dubstep), the dynamic 'Transcendence', and the upbeat and fun song 'Electric Daisy Violin'. You can buy the official music (both audio and sheet music) off her website, at http://lindseystirlingviolin.com/category/store/

Nutella + Peanut Butter = ♥
So I was casually eating nutella the naturalist way, when my boyfriend told me I should spread it on bread along with jif and make myself a peanut butter and nutella sandwich. The idea was so avant-garde and so tempting, that I did not hesitate in preparing it: I cut two slices of bread, spread the top half with nutella and the bottom half with peanut butter... not only that, but I then proceeded to put peanuts between both slices to add my own personal touch to this masterpiece. I warmed it up a bit, and after two minutes of eager anticipation, I finally tried it and words fail me to describe what was going on inside my mouth while I was devouring it.
Needless to say, I'll be making another one tomorrow, and the day after, and so on until I run out of ingredients ^-^. Definitely one of the highlights of the day! Cheers :D
Btw: Also try adding sunflower kernels... mm mmm.

The Bravery
Here are a couple of songs by the awesome (and in my opinion, highly-underrated) American rock band, The Bravery.
Very creative video, sad lyrics.
One of my favorite songs from The Bravery to date. Love the drums, vocals, strings. The lyrics are a bit depressing and also kinda deep, but the overall upbeat rhythm keeps one from getting too emotional.
I find this one to be the most dynamic; the drums, bass and guitars complement each other neatly. It's also my favorite from the band, and --interestingly enough-- it's the "highest charting modern rock single" for the Bravery.

Quote of the Day
And this time it's mine!
It seems today I got creative or something and came up with this:
"If the world didn't know love or suffering, there wouldn't be any poetry worth reading, we wouldn't have something to fight for, and we wouldn't have a reason to take that first step out the door..."
I've noticed that my urge to write [poems] relies heavily on strong emotions such as joy, depression, anger and passion. Also, not only is the need to write more intense, but the work usually turns out to be much better than those driven by weaker emotions. Even people who write about nature need to have a passion for it in order to come up with a genuine piece of literature. Even those who prefer to write about more ordinary stuff, say garbage cans. Not kidding.

Status Report
This weekend sucks. I wanted to study and I failed miserably. Then I tried to write something and came up with this poem which is a piece of crap that doesn't even rhyme.
Anyway it's raining A LOT, which is awesome. I wish I could go outside and dance my heart out in the rain, but apparently it'll be socially unacceptable by most people and unfortunately I'm currently in a place where they might see me so I'm just gonna stay inside and do nothing which is actually not awesome at all.
Any suggestions will be warmly appreciated! Have a great day.

Self-discovery
Today I found out that I eat lots of sunflower seeds, make lots of origamis and drive really slowly when I feel depressed. Talk about finding oneself.
